My Life

 Hello, I found many strawberries in this week.  I work part-time job at a supermarket so I am able to find various foods when I pass the product through the cash register. In this week, I found a lot of strawberry flavored products. For examples, cookies, Baumkuchen, latte etc…  These products look very delicious from the packaging so I bought some strawberry products.  I bought strawberry latte and cookies. These were very cute with lots of pink color and delicious. The latte was sweet and warmed me up. The cookies were not too sweet and sour so I could eat them without getting bored.  I want to try other strawberry products next time.  

  Do you know Madeleine? Madeleine is originated from France, it is a baked confectionery shaped like a seashell. It is said that when Madeleine, a servant, baked sweets using scallop shells. Therefor, this sweets was named "Madeleine”.  Last Valentine's Day, I wanted to make some sweets for my family. But, at that time, I had only a few time because of I working part-time job hard. However, I found a recipe of Madeleine that can make easily in a short time. I came up with the idea of adding cocoa powder to this recipe because there was some cocoa powder that was close to its expiration date.  I would like to introduce this recipe for beginner to cook because it is easy to make and you can buy the Madeleine mold at Daiso where most things are sold for 100yen.   Hello, I bought lovely one in this week.  I went to shopping with my mother on Tuesday after class. Some items were cheaper during the New Year sale. Also, I was surprised at how quickly time passed when I looked at the spring clothes lined up.   When I walked in front of a clothing store, I found very cute shoes. It was the shoes I had always wanted. I tried it on and it was very comfortable so I bought it. My mother liked it too, so she bought another one in a different color.  I am really looking forward to wearing it!

 This week, I made sweets.  I made Madeleines as assignment of UP2. I bought Madeleine mold that I used to make Madeleine at Daiso where people can buy something cheaply. The madeleines came out of the mold easily because the mold was made of silicone and could be bent to remove Madeleines. It is amazing that people can buy such a useful item for around 100 yen.  If you need something to make sweets, you should go to Daiso. 

  Happy new year! 2023 has ended and a new year, 2024, has begun.   This week I went to hot spring called “Sakura-no-yu” at Yahiko with my mother. It was 12:30 when we got there so we ate soba for lunch at the restaurant. After finishing lunch, we took the hot spring and warmed up. I tried entering the sauna for the first time, but it was so hot that I left after 3 minutes. There was a foot-bath that you could only put foot in the hot spring.   I was able to relax and get rid of my fatigue. 

 Christmas has finally came this week. I was really looking forward to coming Christmas Day.  My Christmas days started on the December 23. This day, I had a Christmas party with my friends from high school. We ate a lot of delicious dishes such as pizza and s’mores.   Next day, December 24, I also had Christmas party with college friends. We ate delicious dishes and a special Christmas cake that we made. When my friends opened juice in a bottle called Chanmery, the juice overflowed and almost disappeared. We were surprised, but it’s a good memory.  December 25, I also had Christmas party with family. We ate various kinds of small cakes. That was very cute.  It was a Christmas when I ate a lot.
